"T.R."

This is a 5 inch, mohair Teddy holding a smaller bear of vintage upholstery velvets reminiscent of the wonderful Berryman cartoons with President Roosevelt and the small bear he refused to shoot. From these drawings came the name, "Teddy's Bear", which was shorted to "Teddy Bear".

T.R. and his little bear were also winners in the Teddy Bear & Friends Political Teddy Bear contest and appeared in their Sept. 2001 issue.
